We understand that travel plans can change. This policy outlines our cancellation and modification terms for different types of services offered by Sunset Viaje.

Shuttle Services

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 24 hours before departure: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
  • Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

Changes and Modifications

Date or route changes are permitted up to 24 hours before departure, subject to availability. A $10 USD change fee applies per person. Changes requested less than 24 hours before departure are not guaranteed and will depend on space availability.

Short Escapes (1-3 Days)

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 7 days before start date: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
  • 4-7 days before start date: 50% refund
  • Less than 4 days before start date: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

Changes and Modifications

Date changes are permitted up to 7 days before the start date, subject to availability. A $25 USD change fee applies per person.

Signature Journeys (Multi-Day Tours)

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
  • 30-60 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 15-29 days before departure: 25% refund
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

Changes and Modifications

Date changes are permitted up to 60 days before departure, subject to availability. A $100 USD change fee applies per person. Changes requested less than 60 days before departure are subject to the cancellation policy above.

Important Notes

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, etc.), we will work with you to reschedule or provide a credit for future travel. Refunds in force majeure situations are at our discretion.

Weather-Related Cancellations

If Sunset Viaje cancels a tour or shuttle due to unsafe weather conditions, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption, and medical emergencies. Travel insurance can protect you from financial loss due to unforeseen circumstances.

Refund Processing

All approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
